Having spent far too long in the City of London, presiding over the downfall of various institutions such as Barings Bank, I turned my attentions to following my dream of becoming a Racehorse Trainer.

Having lived in Vietnam for a while, I returned to the UK and got a job as Assistant Trainer to Paul Webber. I was subsequently granted my own licence to train by the British Horseracing Authority in December of 2007.

Our first runner, Music Box Express, was beaten a head at Wolverhampton on 1st March 2008. The same horse provided us with our first winner three weeks later and, as of the beginning of March of this year, 74 further winners have been chalked up.

With winners under both codes, Flat and National Hunt, we are very much a dual purpose yard. We aim to run all our horses at a realistic level, giving them each the best possible chance of passing the winning post in front.

I have been lucky enough to surround myself with an exceptional team. We have trained winners for high profile Owners such as Sir Alex Ferguson, Harry Findlay and Paul Roy and many others, including Club SBM.
